We are situated on Scotland's East coast, north of Dundee, Carnoustie, and
Arbroath. We are within easy driving distance of the beautiful Angus Glens,
where you can see eagles, buzzards, deer and some of the most striking
scenery in Scotland.

Make the fairytale complete with a trip to Kirriemuir birthplace of J. M. Barrie, Peter Pan and Wendy (there is an ice-cream parlour to die for opposite Peter's statue), see the amazing Millenium Fountain whose water comes from an ancient well deep below your feet.

Leave the car behind for the day and walk along the highest cliffs on the
Angus coast, just half an hour from our door. See the Puffins and Gannets
fly in from the Bass Rock, a round trip of 100 miles a day, catch sight of
dolphins leaping in the bay. Descend to the wild and unspoilt sandy beaches
of Lunan Bay, picnic in the dunes or walk along to Red Castle, here time and
tide are taking their toll right before your eyes.

Not to be missed a tour of Glamis Castle, made famous by Shakespeare in
Macbeth, and more recently the home of the late Queen Elizabeth the Queen
Mother. Take time to visit the charming village of Glamis and its interesting countryside musuem.

For those who love ancient history visit the numerous Pictish Stones at St.
Vigeans, Meigle and Aberlemno, decorated with amazing ornate carvings.

Spend a day in the local fishing town of Arbroath with its working harbour and numerous Smokie houses. Visit the historic abbey and its visitor centre, learn more about David Beaton (who lived at Ethie Castle) and see the amazing exhibition about the Declaration of Arbroath penned by Bernard de Linton for Robert the Bruce.
